Challenge: Development of a high-quality, motivational online racing game for the launch campaign of Porsche’s Cayman GTS with a strictly limited development period.
Our solution: Our development for Porsche was, in every sense of the word, one of the fastest projects we have ever completed: an easy-to-grasp, yet challenging browser game up to the highest technological standards of the day and in keeping with the aesthetic aspirations of Porsche’s own marketing campaign. The game allows Porsche fans to test their knowledge of the company’s history and the new Cayman GTS in a quiz, as well as get behind the virtual steering wheel and burn rubber. Having completed a challenging training course, the drivers then get to race against the clock for a place in the global leaderboards. With its competitive and informative gameplay, the game thrilled more than 1 million Porsche enthusiasts and racing fans and “overtook” the client’s expectations.
